A reputed medical journal recently published a report the bottom line of which is if you sit most of the day, your risk of leaving this world clutching your chest — whether you’re a man or women — as much as doubles. It doesn’t matter how much you exercise or how well you eat.
Well…this got me thinking because I have been in a sitting job for past 3 years and I have put on 9 kgs (12% over previous weight ) of weight in 3 years, my stamina has hit rock-bottom, my health is in pits and I look 4 months pregnant! I tire easily and I am groggy until I race my heart to 120 beats per minutes for at least 10 minutes every time I get off a good-night's sleep!
